Very nice waterfront park for strolling and people watching. Not a lot of activities, but close to downtown.

Riverside Park has a great walking area and beautiful view of the river. From the park, you can walk across the bridge, go to the paddle boat or visit restaurants.

It has a nice walking circle around the park. If you drive around it, it's only a one way so it's easier to cross the driving lanes if you need to. There is parking on the street in the park if you drive down. There...More

If you come to La Crosse, do go to Riverside. It is an historic park on the Mississippi. There will always be people there, and often an event. It is a must visit.

Lovely park on the edge of the downtown along the river. The eagle sculpture is beautiful! But, very busy in the middle of the day and parking is at a premium.

The International Garden is located at the end of the park. La Crosse has five 'sister cities', and there's a small area of the garden devoted to the plants and sculpture of each one. Nice short work for some quiet time.
