This is a small museum but full of historic items, culture and displays. Well worth a visit--very informative and staffed by pleasant, helpful tribal members.

I was wonderfully overwhelmed by the details and wonderful illustrations, and artifacts in this Museum! My husband and I parted from this Native American museum, as a Wonder of the Northwoods - Please, do indulge yourself in a thoughtful, intriguing and enlightening tour! The Diarama's, the natural environments, depicted, are Outstanding! As fishermen/women, the "Below the Ice" displays, are AWESOME!!... More

An excellent little museum full of cultural artifacts, which presents a good overview of Indian life built around the changing seasons. Has a nice little display about the Indian spear fishing controversy of the 1980s. One big plus is that you are free to take pictures of everything (a ban on photography being a major drawback of the Oneida Museum... More

This compact museum holds a wide array of artifacts and exhbits. There is a beautiful 4-season diorama, a good collection of fine beaded bandoliers and clothing, animal and fish specimens, woven and birch bark baskets, plus fishing, hunting and historical exhibits.

Nice information about the history of Lac Du Flambeau and displays, well worth the fee. Nice & helpful staff. I wish the Pow-Wow and Fish Hatchery had been operational.

Nice set up, interesting displays. If you are in that area then you REALLY need to go to Waswagoning on Cty Rd H. Take the guided walk around the grounds and see and learn about the Native American Indians.
