We did not know about this garden in advance, we stumbled upon it on our way out of town after a visit to the Maritime Museum. It was in its glorious late summer best, it could not have been more delightful to see the beautiful flowers with the lake in the background. All the beds were so carefully planned for... More

This place is amazing. My honey and I visited the FREE admission gardens in August. Everywhere you look we saw beautiful flowers. Some annuals and a lot of perennials. Their roses are to die for. They must have over 14 different varieties and the colors will take your breath away. The views of lake Michigan behind the gardens would be... More

We rushed through the gardens because we got here 15 mins before they closed so we looked around real quick. Allow at least 30 min to an hour to enjoy the scenery and the flowers. Well worth it if you are near Manitowoc

Great gardens and lot of work place into them. If you want to relax and enjoy a calm afternoon vist the gardens. You will enjoy the roses, the combination of all the other plants and forget about the outside world

The gardens are located on the main road in Manitowoc, and it is free. The location is beautiful, being on the shores of Lake Michigan. The gardens are impeccably maintained and very enjoyable.

This was a wonderful surprise located just next to Lake Michigan. The flowers were all in bloom and had a wide variety of well maintained and designed gardens. We had a nice walk around the grounds. There are some paved walks but most are through the grass.

We were in Manitowoc on our way to Green Bay looking for an activity to do. We heard about the gardens and went to check it out. What a wonderful garden, so beautiful and well manicured. The best garden I have ever seen. And best yet, it is free. I highly recommend the self tour.

We stopped here thinking we would have to pay, but was surprised to find it free (although they take donations.) A photographer's dream, with all the beautiful flowers and the lake in the background. We didn't have the grandkids with us, but I think they would have loved it too, because the lawns are quite expansive with lots of room... More

We moved to Manitowoc 10 years ago. Never stopped at this attraction until last week. Now we're wondering why it took us so long. This is a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. The flower beds are spectacular, so many colors and scents. There are 10 different gardens to visit. At some time of your visit, stop, close... More
