Have not been here for 10 years so wife and I took day trip from Wausau. Nice sunny day, the leaves were really starting to turn, and the water levels were up in the Bad river so the falls were great. Love this park for...More

Beautiful walk, nice trails. Walked to observation tower, didn't climb- wonderful views from trail there. Proceeded to the trail to the falls, the roaring sound, scenery was breath taking. Easy walking. First time here, looking forward to returning.

We visited this park many years ago. I was not able to put the correct year from the menu. Guessing around early 2000s. A bad storm had taken down a section of trees along a trail but it did not get in the way of...More

When in WI this is a must see where two rivers got together to form one and how the glacier moved the rocks to form this. This is a beautiful hike around two rivers which then flows into one---you will see two big waterfalls and...More

Our family of 4 camped at Copper Falls. We had site 55 on the south loop. The sites are pretty open between them. I wouldn't want to camp at a site in the middle of the loop as you are surrounded by campers on all...More

We had a great time at this State Park. The trails were very nice and we went on several of them. The tower was a nice challenge with many steps to get to the top. The waterfalls were very beautiful.

I haven't been to Bayfield and only visited Ashland for a part of a day a few years ago. I can't recommend any hotels, but if you are into sightseeing there are lots of things to see in the area.

There are backpacking sites for camping separate from the two campgrounds. There are also a few walk in sites from one of the campgrounds. Just talked with someone who had been fishing. He caught some trout on the river.
