If you are here in the summer, what a great spot to picnic, walk/run, bike, and just hang out than Veteran's Park. There is a lot of space for any activity. Lots of families. Kites to buy and family bikes for rent. Also, there are little paddleboats to rent on the pond. Long walkway along the water that is beautiful... More

It's rather flat and boring. It's mostly used for special events. I guess it'd be a great place to run but walking gets old quickly. Nothing much to look at.

We went on a Sunday when it was least crowded & it was really an awesome place. Tons of tributes to all branches of the military as well as major wars. The open area is on the Lakefront & is incredibly large.

This was nice and quiet the day that we visited. The memorial to the Veterans is done with bricks engraved with numerous names. We enjoyed reading the information and quietly remembering all they gave for our country. The location is nice by Lakeshore Park and the water. You can access it by walking, car, bicycle etc.

First note, watch out for goose droppings. Second note, watch out for bikes going too fast. Otherwise this is a great walk along the lake to get some fresh air and take in the sights.

The park looks like it would be quite busy during the day, but we were there late evening, so it wasn't as busy. But it looks like there are some fun activities during the day. It does offer a nice stroll along the lake with some nice views. Would definitely recommend.

A really nice and beautiful lakeside park. Right off of downtown, it has lots of great open space, water features, paths and benches and trails.

This is a great, centrally located green space in downtown Milwaukee. There are often planned events happening there which are always wonderful to witness!
