I actually enjoyed my time here. The best part of the museum is hands down the European Village, giving you a chance to peek into the past and see typical accommodations of the different ethnic groups in Old Milwaukee.

Love walking around the museum. Such a great place to be--and it's so fun to get lost in the old streets of Milwaukee. There is always something to see! Please support and donate to this museum to keep it great!

I went to check out the new world culinary exhibit and I missed the county resident free day! Don't let this happen to you! Check your dates First Thurs. Each Month!

I've never seen so many dioramas in a museum! I was utterly fascinated with the hundreds of representative figures throughout the museum. Don't for get to look up too! The recreated Streets of Old Milwaukee and the European Village is one of a kind and so charming.

The first thing I noticed about this museum was how much fun the kids were having. Multiple floors, with dioramas, interactive modules, and a nice Natural History environment. The Butterfly garden was fantastic. There is a great gift shop and a cafe on the ground floor, as well as seating for eating.

MPM is a gem. Old school in the best way. The renovated Streets of Old Milwaukee have been my kids' favorite for TEN YEARS! There are nooks and crannies that keep us coming back year after year. Did you know they have real shrunken heads hidden on the 3rd floor? Not cutting-edge but reassuringly and entertainingly informative.

The Milwaukee Public Museum has a fascinating exhibit - including exhibits on historic Milwaukee, Native American Indians and dinosaurs. It is a fantastic place to take a family. Children can learn so much from this place!

This is a good traditional museum. Milwaukee's architectually interesting art museum is about a mile away on the lake front.
