Just a breathtaking museum structure on the waterfront. Seeing the building alone was worth the visit. The art was a bonus! Kids enjoyed the visit and the interactive areas. Underground parking is limited...go early. The paper art, modern pieces, and PraireArt/architecture features are really cool....More

Set on the lake, MAM's architecture is as beautiful to see on the outside, as it is to look at on the inside, as well as seeing the beautiful art.

This is one of the most interesting museums in the world. The MAM has a fabulous permanent collection with very unique visiting exhibitions. The tours are very well done by highly trained docents. The cafe and restaurant have outstanding food with attentive staff.

Not only are the exhibits always spectacular, but the architecture of the building makes it a masterpiece of its own. The view is equally as stunning. Even if you aren't a fan of the art, you can't help but enjoy the beauty of your surroundings!...More

walking to the lake is an easy trip to the art museum. There are cafes with reasonable priced menus & beautiful setting along the lake. There is enough space with in the building so you don't feel cramped while looking in every room of art....More

Especially love their top-notch photography collection: have seen the masters here, and also quirky, super-interesting photography exhibits. The modern art is impressive. And the location is GREAT.
