Fantastic museum with interesting special exhibits. Always enjoy seeing the modern art, too. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, BTW.

It is a really neat building. We briefly visited during a tour of the city - we are going back today.

Went to see the Mid Century Modern exhibit and enjoyed the entire museum. You can do it in an afternoon. We went to Harbor House for brunch first.

Visiting the museum has really helped grow my daughter's appreciation of art. From their songs in the lobby, to the art centers, to the guided activities for kids, this place is wonderful.

Situated on the Lake Michigan waterfront, the structure alone is well worth a visit. The galleries display a delightful collection of classical to modern artists and ever changing special exhibits. Return worthy? Absolutely!

Definitely outside. Try to find a position on the bridge that's back far enough to see the full spectacle.

I suggest outside. There are many vantage points. Across the street in the parking garage. At the restaurant nearby (Harbor House).

If you don't mind a very pleasant Milwaukee walk, you wouldn't have to. However, it is an option. Sorry for the delay in responding. I just saw your question now.
