Even the building itself is a moving sculpture, and inside there is always a new exhibit on display so it is worth going back now and again to explore the most resent exhibits. The last one I saw was on German cinema after WWI and it was pretty interesting.

A perfect environment for any exhibit. The building itself is a work of art. Reasonable rates and the staff is very helpful and informative.

Seeing the Calatrava addition is a must. Watching the "wings" open & close is magnificent. The collections are very good for a 2nd tier city. Also not to be missed is a meal at the Cafe Calatrava. We have never had a bad meal there & you eat with a beautiful view of the lake.

Always amazed at the architecture- we visit twice a year. I love the clean lines, quiet ambience, contemporary style. Wish parking was included.

You must first take the time to appreciate the the beautiful exterior of the museum and the wings that reach out over Lake Michigan. The exhibit was well organized to give a true feeling of Vango and his art.

A very good art museum in a spectacular building on a great site. A unique opportunity in a major American city.

Many people recognize and appreciate the Calatrava, but do not bother to enter the museum. The collection is actually quite impressive and diverse. The museum can get busy with school groups during the week, but I would think it quiets down in the afternoon. My kids love going there and exploring, and they each have their favorite pieces. I would... More

The milwaukee art museum, housed in a beautifully done space and in a building that is a work of art in itself is a perfect way to spend a long afternoon. A diverse and quality permanent collection is always energized by ever changing exhibitions that never fail to engage. Unlike most museums, the milwaukee art museum has a divine cafe... More

What I love most about the Milwaukee Art Museum is its art exhibits, all-white interior and architectural design. It’s the perfect place to hold an elaborate wedding, corporate event and fund-raiser. It's one of my favorite places to visit during the summer for local art exhibits and entertainment. A must-see! It's Milwaukee's Own Calatrava!

The permanent collection in this museum is outstanding; it includes modern/contemporary art, design, European art, photography etc. etc. This museum always have very interesting special exhibits. It's situated on the Lake Front and offers wonderful views of the lake.
