This is definitely a cool hands on museum located at the lakefront. We all had a great time and were happy that we visited. There was a lot to do and learn via interactive exhibits. This is a wonderful learning place for everyone.

A great place to spend the whole day. A lot of hands on exhibits to keep the kids busy. After all the Science Exhibits you can go check out the aquarium which everyone loved.

Had a great time visiting all the hands-on science exhibits. The museum is extremely clean and well-kept with lots to do for kids and adults alike. Brought 4 adults and a 3 year old and 5 year old. Everyone had fun, and interacted with the exhibits. The yearly membership seems like it would be worth it for local families!

So the aquarium was pretty neat. They have a model of the Great Lakes and a system that "rain" pours down on them. It's pretty neat and it shows how the water flows through the lakes and how the lakes connect. There are a few animals in addition to the lake life including a snake. There is an area that... More

We wanted to spend a half day in Milwaukee with family who were flying out the next day. They suggested the Discovery World, and I didn't know a thing about it. It was fantastic for all ages. There were lots of exhibits where you can operate machines, turn gears, fly an airplane, make music on a Les Paul guitar, or... More

This was a great time for the family. We happened to be there on a day when a robotics expo was on display simultaneously, which only added to the fun. We really enjoyed the life-sized model ship, the opportunity to touch and feel live sea creatures, and the bed of nails. Did I mention there were axylotls?

Love that there are some unique features I haven't seen at other museums, like the weather simulation over the Great Lakes. We also loved the aquarium! My oldest really enjoyed all the machines. We got a membership and went back for their Science Fiction event and really enjoyed it as well.

Lots of hands on activities, art and science. My son loved the musical area. There is a giant sculpture that hangs down the center and contracts and expands slowly. Wonderful for kids, more geared toward younger children.
