This museum (particularly the guided tour, which is included with the general admission ticket) is WELL WORTH it!! I took my two teenage daughters yesterday. We all learned a lot about Milwaukee history and just general history from the early 1900s. Plan about 1.5-2 hrs...More

The tour guide made the experience very enjoyable. If you went through it without his guidance it would not be much.... he did a wonderful job!! He told us the exhibits change monthly.

Thank you for visiting and the praise of our guided tours. Since some people prefer self-guided we offer that experience too. We do enjoy changing our exhibits frequently.

They have a wonderful and diverse collection. I really enjoyed the ice cream shop and the doctors office. The most amazing thing was the hidden speakeasy. I don't want to give away the secret on it! The movie theater was a lot of fun. The...More

Everyone has their favorite exhibits and we try to keep the stores diverse so each person can relate to the time period. So pleased that you appreciated the time length of the movies as that was the exact intent in making them. We appreciate you...More

A very nice surprise to see so many old memories in a small setting. We spent a couple hours swapping stories and explaining what this and that was used for. Low admission, and it was not crowed at all.

very interesting and educational. after the tour you are free to go back and look around on your own. would not recommend for younger children as this is more ow key and educational but very interesting for adults that enjoy "days gone past"

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You are correct in that my niece of two does not get much education from her visits. I enjoy multi-generational tour groups though. We are pleased you found your visit interesting!

Thank you for your repeated visits to the Chudnow Museum! I am glad you enjoy the themes and changing exhibits throughout the year. We plan to make even more short historical documentaries about Milwaukee history and look forward to your input on your next visit.

The tours here are very fun and in depth. I learned far more than I thought I would walking through. Museum feels very homey too, likely because it's in a house after all.

Thank you for writing a review and we are glad you found the museum entertaining and informative! The historic building is about double or triple the square footage of a usual Milwaukee house from the time period!

Thank you for finding and exploring our museum. It is in a large, historic house with many open displays of original items. The collection is so large, we have to rotate displays. We are very please you enjoyed your tour and we appreciate the review!

This is a very nice and well-cared for museum with a very large collection of interesting and nicely displayed objects. It takes between 1-2 hours to go through, and at $6 per adult, was well worth the admission. While we choose the self-guided tour option,...More
