The oldest structure in Milwaukee that dates back to the early 15th century (circa 1420). The heart of the Catholic and Jesuit university community of Marquette University. Services and tours available. Educational and Interesting time line from 1420's untill it's arriving in Milwaukee 1966.

The small, historic chapel in the Marquette University campus, is a hidden treasure. Open limited hours, well worth the time and effort.

If you know the history of St. Joan of Arc, this place will give you goosebumps. Even if you don't know her history, you can learn enough about her there in a few minutes to be awe-inspired. Don't miss this little gem in the middle of Marquette's campus.

For people who love chapels then this one will be nice to visit. St. Jean dʻArc was imprisoned here during her time. It is a 13th Century chapel that was bought by a railroad baron. Taken down brick by brick and reassembled at the mansion. Sadly, the mansion burned down some years later and the chapel was transferred at Marquette... More

Very interesting to see and it's free. A historical building from the 15th century. Simple but solid.

PROS: free short tour; great pieces inside- there is the stone of St Joan; there is even a tomb top on the floor of a French knight! CONS: may be difficult to find parking for it.

Visited this site during Doors Open Milwaukee. Had never heard of it before. Very interesting story surrounding the move from Europe and background of the tiny, centuries-old chapel. Even non-religious or non-Catholic people would feel moved and a sense of spirituality inside. Quite a thing, really. Worth a visit and tour.

This chapel was built in 1420 and was donated to Marquette University. Worth a quick trip to see it if you are in the area. We walked here from the Pabst Mansion.

Right in the middle of campus. Could be a nice quiet place for meditation. The story of how it came to Milwaukee is very interesting.
