We mostly go for coffee at Brewed (awesome) and drinks on occasion. It's great for having a drink in nice weather and watching the people go by. It's recently got a new taco restaurant called Kompali that's quite nice too. For a treat stop in...More

A mixture of everything from hip bars to great food (Glorioso's!), drugstores to private schools (Tamarack Waldorf School!), this is a wonderful gem in the landscape of Milwaukee.

Perhaps we went to early in the day and bars weren't open. Seemed run down and streets & walkways smelled. The Italian deli was fun and bakery also looked good. Won't go back.

A neat mixture of pubs and both indoor and outdoor dining options, in June that is. Certainly a nice place to do a pub crawl.

We went on a walking food and had a riot learning about/seeing the area. The area is being restored to its Glory Days and the history is fascinating.

This street reminded us very much of Portland, OR (where we are from). It's full of great little local restaurants and people standing around talking, drinking and eating. We ate at the Empanada place and it was wonderful - the crust was amazing. It was...More
