A great place to take out-of-towners

This is a lovely spot to watch the waves and wind surfers, enjoy the sunshine. Highly accessible for people with disabilities, as well.

Great place to visit if you enjoy the history of the great lakes and its light houses. Not to many left.

Breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Flower gardens. Attached to the grounds of golf course. Very quaint place. Not generally open to go up in.

I loved this location! There are also small historical buildings on site. Beach view. Free Parking. Beautiful place to take pictures. and seating available. Collected a few rocks and sea shells for souvenirs. I will return to visit again.

Serene, peaceful, beautiful. A lovely place to watch the sun rise over the lake and reflect. The gardens surrounding the grounds at the base are splendid in spring and summer.

Amazing view of Lake Michigan from top of the Lighthouse... very clean and serene... been here 3-4 times... At times, wind can be quite chilly, don't forget to carry a jacket.

Our Designated Driver took us on a little tour of the area and we found this little place with a wonderful view. Especially loved the autumn colours and, with the lovely views and well kept Garden, it definitely made a picturesque spot. With the wind blowing, it could get pretty chilly. Around the area, we were told that this was... More

The lighthouse is in very good shape considering it's age. The grounds are well kept, and has a beautiful garden.

We were taking a beautiful July afternoon to hunt Lighthouses on Lake Michigan and found this. Its a quaint lighthouse, with a beautiful view of the Lake. It was closed when we arrived, so nothing I can say about the inside.

During the summer months, on the first Sunday of the month, you can climb all the way to the top of this 1880 lighthouse. It's moderately strenuous, but the view is amazing! Well worth the $10, very memorable!
