Everything was very kept up and the facilities were in excellent shape for being 130+ years old. Not much else than a few good photo ops.

Spent an hour or so walking the grounds and taking photos on a bright sunny morning. The grounds are very well kept and the structures look terrific. A nice side trip.

We had a nice visit with our friends we have not seen in awhile. Racine is a half way point for us so it made for a nice day. The grounds are beautiful and worth the time to go see it.

Nice break on our trip. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan, interesting history and museum. Maybe we'll come back for the once-a-month climb up the lighthouse. (You need advance reservations.) Located just north of Racine, easy to get to, maybe a ten-minute ride.

Not on the beaten path. Light House is in excellent condition and a perfect place to visit if you're into lighthouse, right on the Lakeshore.

Was rather disappointed! Not much 'historical' facts that could be placed for the public, did not exist. Gardens were rather unkempt. Seating arrangements were not that satisfactory.

I could sit on the shore all day and watch boats and kayakers. It's a well kept lighthouse with historical plaques to read. There is a local police station there too.

This is a small but picturesque place to visit. We came on a warm summer day and walked around the lighthouse since we could go inside. There is a beautiful little garden in front of the lighthouse and by the lake. There are picnic tables...More
