This is a small light house that is an easy walk if you don't want to get too close. To get close you have to walk over big boulders but it is not too hard to do.

By far the most natural and beautiful beach in the area. Great for an evening bonfire or daytime beach day with the kiddos!

This is the longest freshwater sandbar in the world and it stretches for 2 and a half miles. Very pretty and a fun place to visit. There is even a old Indian burial ground there.

We visit Duluth annually and always take a drive out to Wisconsin Point as it is typically not as busy as Minnesota Point. The kids and I have made it out to the lighthouse, but we had to navigate large boulders to do so. Beautiful...More

Locals and people from afar will love this spot. Beautiful place to explore... it's a rocky and bumpy walk out to the lighthouse but worth the walk. I suggest you wear hiking shoes, and bring your camera...because you just can't leave without snapping a few...More

There's waterfowl hunting in nearby Allouze Bay during the season but not up by the lighthouse and beach area to my knowledge.
