The falls on the west side of hwy 35 are worth the stop. They are a short walk from the parking area. The beach is NOT worth going to since the local goose population loves to leave their droppings everywhere.

Enjoyed the easy trek from the parking lot to both the Big Manitou and Little Manitou falls. Beautiful lake and area. Enjoyed reading and seeing about the CCC that was stationed there from the 20-30's to help employ workers during the depression. Did find that...More

One of Wisconsin State Park's jewels with wonderful hiking trails and an awesome waterfall, the tallest in Wisconsin. Wildlife abounds and spring wildflowers were gorgeous. Migrating as well as resident birds attract many birders to this corner of the state.

I guess I'm prejudiced; I lived close by this park for 5 years. Wisconsin's highest waterfalls. Wonderful hikes throughout the place. Original CCC stone buildings. Friendly and helpful rangers, and friendly & helpful campground hosts. Occasionally, if you're lucky, a black bear or two! Bathrooms...More

We recently stopped at Pattison Park and walked some of the trails and got some great shots of the falls. It's a short walk to see them but very easily accessible.

Going to the Little Manitou Falls was pleasantly semi physical. Had to watch out for small puddles and some mud but it was well worth the trek. I think the round trip was between 1.5 to 2 -ish? miles. You can see the Big Manitou...More

This is definitely worth the stop. We were on our way up to Superior and wanted to stop somewhere along the way but not out of the way. The park was beautiful. It was a two mile loop with lots of stairs but the views...More

I have been to this park to many times to count and it's always a pleasure going back. As a child we had picnics here, later camping, and just making a day walking through the park. Lots to do and see...swimming, play grounds, volleyball etc....More

I went here to cross country ski and check out the waterfall. Cross country trails were groomed (quite icy when I went) and were a little on the narrow side with some tighter turns. Was a nice trail through nature though and goes along the...More

Yes on certain length leashes and on certain trails.
Hi, Can you tell me if there is cell phone coverage at the park for AT&T or Verizon? I'm planning a visit to the park this week but due to an ill family member at home, I want to be sure I can have access to voice and/or text.

I have US Cellular and it is very spotty, the Park Ranger we spoke with had AT&T he said it works but also spotty.
