We LOVE the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum! The outdoor sculpture garden is our absolute favorite. Beautiful gem, near downtown Wausau.

We're glad you appreciated the grounds, summer exhibition, and always-free admission. We're remaining open throughout an extensive gallery renovation project nearing completion, hence the reason for some galleries being closed. About an hour is enough to see the chairs exhibit. Other galleries are bird art that is dependent on your interest. The outside grounds are worth seeing in warm weather which shouldn't take more than 1/2 hours. If you... More
