Went with ladies from work to see the David Lenz exhibit - outstanding! The Musuem is conveniently located to downtown West Bend.

The MOWA staff were very helpful and considerate. Our younger children participated in their free art Saturday. The crafts were creative and fun, with different difficulty levels available.

It is wonderful to have a museum featuring only artists born in Wisconsin or having a connection with Wisconsin. The museum has a permanent collection as well as changing exhibitions (currently three). The Carl von Marr Collection is great and includes two wall-size paintings that were displayed at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Even artwork that is not on display... More

The David Lenz exhibit was terrific. It was hard to forget they weren't photographs. I am not a fan of the modern art display but did appreciate the diversity.

Reasonably priced - $12 annual membership allows you to come as often as you wish. The building itself is magnificent; displays and exhibitions showcase a wide range of current and past Wisconsin artists. We enjoy their Thursday curator talks. Always something new to see and such a relief from gray winter days.

It oks like a bad geometry experiment from the outside but inside is a collection of a variety of nice art works. The Flagellants is a main attraction - huge painting of zealots whipping themselves on parade - intriguing. They have workshops and tours available, and sometimes a concert appropriate for the venue. Check it out if you are in... More

MOWA is the building centerpiece of West Bend, featuring modern exhibits from Wisconsin artists. My wife and I have enjoyed many of the exhibitions, and the recent showing of paintings done by David Lenz was no exception. Since a yearly membership costs $12 per person, per year, it allows you to come back to the museum as often as you... More

I love their exhibits, especially the annual member's show. I also enjoy their museum store. It is a small museum, but still very nice.

This museum, filled with work of Wisconsin artists, has been exhibiting works by David Lenz. We walked through the whole museum before getting to the featured exhibit. The MOWA is modern, bright and presents well the artists represented.. A number of works by members of the museum were displayed along the indoor walkway. They were well done and very intriguing.... My aunt and I went to the Museum of Wisconsin Art and we ended up spending the entire afternoon there. The artwork is amazing, the displays are clearly defined and the staff were amazing. My aunt has had her artwork on display there in the past and it truly is a place of great artwork.
