You wouldn't think it by the name or appearance, but this museum has a LOT of interesting items from the area's history. Some of it is also interactive for the kiddos... although it is a little dated.

Modern museum which gives an excellent overview of the history of the settlement of Buffalo and surrounding areas. At $5 a person, this is a bargain activity. Definitely recommend. Some stairs, but i think there was a special lift for those who cannot climb stairs.

Very surprised at the wealth of history in this great museum. Exhibits are great. Very nice gift shop inside. Really glad we visited here. No crowds early in the day.
