There is really a lot to see here. The resident geologist (sorry I don't remember his name) is friendly and answers questions.

I enjoy geology, so I enjoyed this museum. Though small, you could spend a couple of hours looking at and reading the informative exhibits. I liked it, and it's free.

This is likely they smallest museum I have ever been to. There are some interesting things to see, but keep in mind that it is very small. Not worth going out of your way for, but if you are in the area and have nothing else to do, go spend 30 minutes if you don't have anything else to do.

This is my favorite attraction in Casper. I have been going to the museum for years and they always have new things to see. A person has the chance to see how they clean up the dinosaur bones, see all of the prehistoric bones from the sea and land, and take a tour with a knowledgeable person.

This was just enough to stretch our legs and learn something, too, after driving from Jackson Wyoming to Casper. Very kid friendly, and equally informative for adults. Free, too!

This is an exceptional small museum if you are interested in learning more about Wyoming geology - rocks, gems, and minerals. Great displays.

Had a nephew in town that loves science and dinosaurs. We had a great time, good gift shop to keep memories of the trip

From a full sized sculpture of T. Rex to the skeleton of Dee the Mammoth This is a great small museum full of specimens and manned by a very knowledgable and friendly staff. Take an hour or two and visit a scientific treasure here in CASPER.
