Great ski area Beginner, intermediate, expert all in the family found the perfect ski or snowboard run. Our newest snowboarder had a great time on the learning hill with the magic carpet, and the rest found trails that suited them. Set in the Medicine Bow National Forest it's simply beautiful. The lodge is at the base of 2 lifts, makes... More

Our family used all the services of this Ski Area. We rented skis- service was great. We bought lift tickets- had some trouble and we were helped as requested. Ski shop is well equipped. Ski Patrol are friendly, attentive and helpful. Lift Operators were so patient and helpful with my small children. I can't say enough about how wonderful our... More

Last year as Colorado residents - we opted from a break from the crowds, I-70 traffic and the ridiculous ticket prices .... Snowy Range is wonderful! Laid back, friendly - down to earth skiers, great snow, run variety, little traffic and reasonable prices. Definitely worth the 2 hr easy trip, stay in Laramie and enjoy! Ski lessons are wonderful -... More

We have been going to Snowy Range on an annual family & friends trip for six years running. The mountain is just the right size for young families. The rentals and lift tickets are very affordable. We ski on Thursday (no lines or waiting) and Friday (busier yet short lines). We went Saturday one year, but the locals all flock... More

Hidden gym and an excellent place to ski. Lift ticket prices are reasonable and very less lift lines. Look for deals in liftopia website for even better deals on lift tickets.

If you have tried to ski anywhere near the Northern Colorado, Southern Wyoming area, most of the ski areas are in the Western Colorado. Travel time takes hours and traffic is miserable on the I-70 corridor. Snowy Range is a convenient, traffic free drive. The ski area is relatively small compared to other ski areas and has a limited number... More

If you live in Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Ft Collins or Wellington it's a great little downhill ski area to visit. Easy to get to from Hwy 287 to Laramie then hop on I-80 for 1 exist to Snowy Range Rd. Only a 20 min drive to the hill from the exit. No traffic jams like I-70 ski resorts. We love... More

Service was very good. Booking online for some options was a little tricky but easily cleared up on site. Great for beginner and intermediate skiers. Little to no wait in the lift lines was a huge plus. Lodge was very large and easily accommodated post-Christmas crowd. Food very good (little pricey, but you are at a ski lodge), great variety... We'll run, very polite group run the area. Slopes well maintained- easy to challenging. The lodge is massive, well built with full restaurant (if desired) + lots of space for those who brown bag it.

It is not crowded. It often has great snow. It is beautiful and accessible. The trees block the wind, and it has excellent prices. The lodge is rustic--an alternative to Vail or other luxury villages.
