Visited on April 17/17 without great expectations, I think you could say. We were delightfully surprised, from the friendly gentleman at the front desk (he obviously loved the museum) to the exhibits themselves. All kinds of carriages, wagons on display plus other odds and ends. For us though, the highlight was undoubtedly the film on the rodeo riders and the... More

Stopped at the suggestion of friends to get the feel of "old" Cheyenne. Enjoyed my wondering through the museum and then lots of help in the gift shop to find some unique shirts for grand children

Heavy emphasis on coaches of all kinds. I was intrigued to see how much of the coach structure carried over to the first cars. Take the time to watch the short film in the small theater. The heritage of Frontier Days comes alive and the scenes of the bull riding will stay with you long after the film ends. Probably... More

Since I live in Cheyenne I have been to this museum several times but it's interesting each time. There is so much fascinating history and there are also great areas for kids so everyone in the family is happy. If you go during frontier days be prepared for lots of tourists!

We decided to take our 18 month old Grandson here for something to do that was inside! Not a lot for him he didn't want to do too much in the kids room! It was interesting but not a place I'd pay to go back too!

This is the second time that our family have visited this museum and it never ceases to amaze us! There is loads of videos depicting all aspects of Frontier Days, memorabilia, photos and of course, carriages! Beautiful statues welcome you to the museum and it will not disappoint.

This museum is very interesting. If you like old western wagons, it's a MUST. Lane frost has his memorial statue here and his pearl snap and saddles are inside! There is a kids room that would probably be hard to get your kids to leave after playing in it! I recommend going if you have time!

What a fun time we had. There is a unique and varied wagon display here. There is also a fun kids' room where kids can dress up. It is free admission for kids under 12 years. I would love to return for the Cheyenne Days. It seems like that would be an experience.
