We went to see the missals and museums. What we didn't expect was to find is 5 antelope crossing the street in front of us!!! We are retired military, so have ID cards. Not sure how the general public gets on base.

Wandered the base as we were in town visiting friends; much has changes since we were here in the late 70s, but much has stayed the same...old brick quarters, antelope roaming around, etc.

It was a great place to visit. There is so much history and heart on this base and in this community. The animals abound, and we loved it here!

We visited the base for several days at the end of August. The base is an interesting collection of historic brick buildings and new construction. There are antelope grazing all over the base as well as Canadian Geese.
