Just drove through the park a few times from Cody, WY to Yellowstone and just loved the mountains and rock formations found throughout the park, as well as the views at the dam.

Camped two nights. Pros: pull-through sites, electric and water, beautiful views Cons: vault toilets, no showers, zero amenities (like ice, supplies, activities) Did I mention vault toilets?

We were only in Cody for 1 night, so that was a bummer because this place was beautiful! Right on the water and the views of the Mountains all around us!

This was a nice place for us to visit for picnic. Very peaceful. Nice picnic facilities. We wanted a place with pretty scenery to just relax, have a picnic and read for a bit - and this was the perfect spot!

What a cute park with little picnic areas and views that are amazing. Its all by the shoshone river and surrounded by mountains. We spent some time looking at all the different rocks and found some great heart rocks!

The mountains surrounding the park are breathtaking. The location is convenient to both the east entrance of Yellowstone and Cody. The sites are spacious, however without extra amenities. There are only 2 showers and they are pay showers albeit clean.

We did no camping there. I'd suggest contacting the ranger station.
