This was a nice place for us to visit for picnic. Very peaceful. Nice picnic facilities. We wanted a place with pretty scenery to just relax, have a picnic and read for a bit - and this was the perfect spot!

What a cute park with little picnic areas and views that are amazing. Its all by the shoshone river and surrounded by mountains. We spent some time looking at all the different rocks and found some great heart rocks!

The mountains surrounding the park are breathtaking. The location is convenient to both the east entrance of Yellowstone and Cody. The sites are spacious, however without extra amenities. There are only 2 showers and they are pay showers albeit clean.

Drove this part of the 50 most beautiful miles in US. You see something breathtaking & then you see something even more breathtaking. Take this drive thru here & you will be glad you did.

All good -- I arrived late, but my reservation was taped to the cabin at the entrance. The park was beautiful, campsite was fine (it's a campsite), and I got a hot -- hot -- shower in the morning. Perfect.

As you drive through this park you will see some of the most beautiful rock formations along the road. They seem to be of all colors and certainly shapes and sizes. Driving through there at dusk might be the best time.

We did no camping there. I'd suggest contacting the ranger station.
