All of the West's major artists have works here, major paintings too, along with studio recreations that are fascinating in themselves. One of the top 5 collections of western art anywhere and they put together impressive shows there as well.

We were amazed that this museum was here. Yes, it is that Whiney of New York and it all started with Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney's "Buffalo Bill - The Scout" sculpture. What a collection of fine Western Art, including George Catlin, NC Wyeth and Fredric Remington. A must stop.

Part of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, they have one of the best collections of Western Art. There are american native pieces of art, paintings, sculptures and more.

Refreshing, stunning mix of western American Art. Great displays and galleries. Could spend a few hours or a couple days in this one museum.

This was really great, probably our favorite section in the Buffalo Bill complex. There are SO many things to see here, by SO many artists!!! I could have spent a lot longer if we'd had the time.

One of the five museums in the Buffalo Bill Centre, it was very interesting but disappointing in that there was more work by more modern artists on display rather than older ones like Remington.

I am a fan of Alfred Jacob Miller, and I was not disappointed. Compares to the Gilcrease in Tulsa, and Amon Carter in Fort Worth. Truely something not to miss. A sensory and emotional experience, I can't say enough, so I won't try!

Plan to spend several hours to truly enjoy this gallery. Make sure to take advantage of the FREE headphones for the narration of the many pieces of art and sculptures throughout this fine gallery.

I greatly enjoyed the sculptors. I have always liked Remington. Afraid it's out of my price range. But I did like seeing all his work. The paintings and other works of the west were interesting too. Kids were bored in this one. This gallery is one of five buildings of the buffalo bill center.

One of the best collections of western art. Many Charles Russell and Frederick Remmington bronzes are among the many in. This collection. Breathtaking paintings with amazing clarity and many painted in the early 1800's. There museum ticket is good for two-days and depending you your interest it could take that long to experience all that the museum offers.
