This national grassland (who knew?) had all sorts of sights--even when seen just from the car window. Tons of types of energy production, animals, and great views. Worth a drive through--especially if you put down your device and see all there is to see.

We were just driving through this national grassland. It was so flat but very much enjoyable. We loved the autumn colors of mother nature very much! :-)

The long drive from Gillette down 59 to Douglas is long and boring. The rolling hills help break up the drive and we enjoyed looking for deer and pronghorn antelope and wee surprised to see so many near the road. We tried to imagine the...More

This is not how we thought of Wyoming - 3 million acres of rolling grassland! Driving through on our way to South Dakota, we enjoyed the different type of scenery than we had been seeing in other parts of the state. Lots of antelope and...More

Driving through here is amazing...all that grass, and all that open space. It has to be a huge surprise for anyone who hasn't lived in Wyoming before.
