Beautiful views, decent dirt road when dry. Take your time, go to the edge, take in the views. This road goes from Green River to Rock Springs.

The evenings and early mornings are the best time to see the mustangs, make sure you take binoculars and a telephoto lens camera. The roads in the spring, summer, winter and fall ate easily travelable in a pickup. The horses will come up next to to hy be road at times. Make sure you have a spare tire, and a full tank... More

We almost missed the connection to the Wild Horse Canyon Road in Green River, traveling east on Hwy 80, using GPS navigator on phone. It's not really difficult to find, just follow the directions on the web link below. We arrived about an hour before sunset and only saw one wild horse, however there was lots of fresh evidence (roadside... More

Galloping across the prairie with manes and tails flying and hooves kicking up dust, there is nothing more iconic in the West than a wild horse. Whether you spot them racing like the wind, clustered around a waterhole or grazing contentedly, wild horses evoke a bit of the Old West, erasing the 21st and 20th centuries and shuttling you back... We scheduled a tour with Rich and Dottie in September 2013. I adopted a horse many years ago and wanted to see where she came from. So, it was a dream come true for me. Rich and Dottie gave us much more than we paid for. We loved the old army vehicle they took us out in. We truly went... More

I recently spent a Sunday morning with Rich and Dottie fulfilling a longtime dream to see Wild Horses in Wyoming and it is something I will cherish and talk about for a long time! The off-the-beaten-path route provided more views of horses and other wildlife. This is a highly recommended activity with a lot of photo opps. The army vehicle... More

My wife and I recently spent a full morning with Rich on the wild horse tour. Rich knows the country, the wildlife, and how to find it. He gave us much more than we paid for. He works hard to entertain and educate his guests, and shows a true love for his unique geography. He is a mountain man extraordinaire!... More

Rich is an excellent guide. He is extremely knowledgable about the environment, history and individual characteristics of the horses. My husband and I went with my 72 year old mother and 2 teenage kids and everyone loved it. The army vehicle is extremely fun. I would highly recommend this to any age group. Everyone in our group agreed it was... More

This was a wonderful way to spend the morning. The guide was fun and well informed. He knew how to find the horses and took us right up close. The highlight of our trip. The army vehicle we rode out in made this a great adventure. I Highly recommend this tour to anyone.
