If you want to re-create the pictures you have seen of the historic barns with the Tetons in the background...this is where they are. Easy drive in off of 191 or a gravel drive off of Shadow Mountain Drive.

Even if you're not into history or old buildings, trying to snap a photo of these iconic old buildings set against a dramatic backdrop of the Grand Tetons is a fun, free experience when you're in the area. Even if you don't get the buildings,...More

Home On the Range, right here. Spring Wildflowers, Summer Sage, and home to a bison herd! Area where the western movie "Shane" was filmed...historic settlement. But you can't beat the majestic Teton views!! Especially at sunset...Top area of Jackson Hole!

Worth the small detour off the highway to get to these special views... just make sure you have the time as the traffic sill slow you down.

The only way I know is to make a right (if heading north out of Jackson) onto Antelope Flats Loop Rd. There is a parking area to the left by one of the Barns and old house about one mile up. The road to the right that looks... More
