Took the sunrise half day expedition with Matt T. His knowledge about where to look for wildlife and knowledge of animal behavior made this trip awesome! The trip really gave us a good oversight of the national park and what to look for during our later time here. The vehicle is very comfortable and offers good viewing. They have hatches... More

Terrific company. Very friendly people. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like a deeper understanding of the GYE. We saw elk, red fox, ospreys, blue herons, moose, and elk. We also learned and saw a fox den and several beaver dams and lodges. Aspens, cottonwoods, sage brush and other plants were also taught about. Very cool time!... More

Our recent trip in the Tetons and Yellowstone with the school was outstanding. We once again enjoyed multiple bear and wolf sightings. EVERYTHING was taken care of for us - lodging, transportation, food, scopes, binoculars - and all were top notch. The front office staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable during the booking process and responded promptly to email inquiries... More

There were many problems when we went to the Teton Science Schools this year. First of all, 19 people got sick while staying in the dorms, mostly vomiting. The food was very bad, and there were little to no choices. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Our short 8 hour journey with Sarah was truly amazing!! Not only did we see wolves in the wild (need I say more?), we talked about geography, geology, WY history, biology/ecology and the best local places/bookstore. We had done some exploring on our own, but we'd have never seen or found 1/50th of what we saw w/ TSS. Knowing our... More

I went on this expedition on March 13, 2017. I was picked up at the house where I was staying early in the morning. I had been advised to wear warm clothes in layers and boots for snow, bring a camera, sunglasses and sunscreen. They provided a hot breakfast and lunch. They also provided snacks, coffee, tea and hot cocoa... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our snow coach tour to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. We are regular visitors to Yellowstone in the summer but to see the park in winter was an unforgettable experience. The term "winter wonderland" doesn't begin to describe the feeling we had, and to see the park when no one else is around! Wow! Winter is... More

This trip was awesome!!! Our guide Mitch was absolutely the best, very knowledgeable about all things Yellowstone, Tetons, Geology, and Science. We saw sunrise views of the Tetons on our way to Yellowstone, and throughout the trip we saw Moose, Bison, and Elk. In Yellowstone, they timed the sightseeing around Old Faithful's eruption schedule. The food was great and the... More

Great staff, from trip reservation to the wildlife guide. The vehicles used for the winter expeditions are modern and fun to ride in. I highly recommend the Yellowstone Winter Expedition with TSS!
