Wildlife Expeditions is one program area of Teton Science Schools, a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization. We have a well-earned reputation of locating all kinds of wildlife in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. We provide fascinating educational experiences in a fun and relaxed environment. A day long trip that is worth spending your time participating in. The scenery is breathtaking and totally different than what you see in the other seasons. Dress in layers. Worth bringing walking sticks to make it easier to get around. Snow coach is very comfortable. Tour guides terrific!

What a fantastic way to see Jackson Hole and its wildlife! It was a private family tour provided by an informed and talkative guide. The van could use an upgrade, not bad, and there is a new one on the way. The stops for snacks and hot drinks were appreciated. It would have been nice to have more artifacts; the... More

We did the Old Faithful Winter Expedition and had a great day that really surpassed our expectations. The guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating with the kids.

The tour was a great experience from start to finish! Mitch Sawicki was our guide for the day & he was outstanding. His enthusiasm for educating us & telling stories throughout the day was fantastic. We have taken many guided tours & Mitch is by far one of the best tour guides we have ever had. PROS: * Get a... More

We had a wonderful time with our guide Sarah. She found animals everywhere including swans, and big horn sheep right to the Dairy Queen! We were amazed to witnessed a young wolf interacting with 4 elk through the spotting scope. Her eagle eye spotted a great horned owl and we now have some incredible pictures. In addition moose, bison and... More

We were visiting our daughter who lives in Jackson Hole, Wy. and decided to take a Winter Expedition with Teton Science Schools, couldn't have been a more wonderful decision. From start to finish it captivated us. After our breakfast in Jackson Hole we headed out to see the sunrise on the Teton Mountains--couldn't take enough pictures. Our group was only... More

Our family was the only group on this trip so it was very personalized. Sarah, our guide, went out of her way to find wildlife for us and the binoculars and scopes that TSS provides were extremely helpful. We saw elk, bison, eagles, mountain sheep and moose. Sarah was knowledgable and told us about habitat, wildlife management, diet of the... More

For New Year's week I participated in the 7 day Winter Yellowstone Wolf and Wildlife Safari offered by Natural Habitat Adventures in partnership with the Teton Science Schools. This tour was led by Paul Brown, one of Wildlife Expeditions lead faculty members. It was without question one of the best planned and best led tours I have ever taken. Paul... More

This was our second year in a row taking a Yellowstone Day Trip with TSS/Wildlife Expeditions (see previous review for our Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone trip in 2016). This year we opted for the Old Faithful trip to see a different side of the park and hopefully build on the knowledge we gained last year. Our guide, Bobby, picked... More

We were a part of the wildlife discovery expedition tour this December. This tour fell exceedingly below our expectations and was a major disappointment. They advertise this expedition by boasting that for some it’s ‘the highlight of their trip to Wyoming.’ I would like to meet these people. On the positive side our guide was very intelligent and knowledgeable about... More
