A fun place if you love yarn!

I enjoyed this lovely place. They had everything I needed to start my new adventure knitting. Maureen was very helpful in showing me how to make a sweet poncho,

I was in Laramie for a college sporting event and I happened upon Cowgirl Yarns. What a delightful place. The selection is really wonderful, focusing especially on local produced yarn, which I always love. But, it is the owner, Lori, and her team, that makes the shop magic. Lori makes the atmosphere so inviting, she knows her goods, and she... More

Cowgirl yarn is an excellent little yarn shop! Compares to yarn shops in Europe. Wonderful selection of yarns to choose from for any project including some local yarns. The classes are a great way to expand your knowledge and try something new. I love Cowgirl yarn and recommend the store to any from beginning to intermediate.

I honestly didn't need any supplies during my most recent visit, but I can't help but stop into this yarn store any time I'm in the area. Their selection is great and the staff tends to be friendly and helpful. I just nosed around a bit and then moved on to the next stop, but I would highly recommend a... More

Cowgirl yarn is becoming one of my favorite places in Laramie! I took a beginning to knit class in October and keep going back for more yarn, project ideas and help with any problem I might have with my current projects. The selection of yarn is amazing--so many colors and so many different yarns. They even have local yarns, including... More

The staff in here is very friendly, and will let you just wander and touch the yarn, even if you're just looking! They have seating at the front of the shop, if you feel like just sitting and working on a project, you're more than welcome to! I was invited to a weekly meetup they have on Mondays, and really... We come from about 1000 miles away for my wife to visit Cowgirl yarn. Ok, so we also visit my wife's family and friends while in Laramie for the week. The owner, Laurie, always remembers my wife's name and who she is when she walks in the door. My wife always walks out with a bag of yarn and a... More
