While the Bighorns certainly have some beauty. They really don't remotely compare to points further west. I enjoyed our drive thru the Bighorns, but I found their attractions to be poorly marked and rather ordinary. The medicine wheel place is interesting historically, but with the...More

It is a beautiful park with a diverse countryside. It is truly a hidden gem. It was so much more than we expected with the canyons and trails. It is definitely worth your time.

We basically drove through and took a short hike (Trail 46, I believe). Since then we've been to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Zion and Bryce, so this forest, while beautiful, wasn't much different than our home turf in Upstate NY and isn't as spectacular as...More

The drive through the Bighorn Canyon was an extremely scenic drive and an ideal scenic byway between Keystone & Sheridan

It had been awhile since I've been through the Bighorn National Forest. It was absolutely beautiful scenery. I even stopped a few times to take some pictures even though it was rushed as I had a time constraint.

We were amazed at the scenery changes. Grassy meadows, sharp rocky cliffs, trees. Beautiful. We drove the 16-14 loop and the 14A. Saw moose, mule deer, coyote, white tail deer, antelope and cowboys on horses rounding up cattle!

What a spectacular place. Bring your best hiking gear, and camp if you can! We hiked for three days, discovering wonderful lakes (:ale Helen, Mirror Lake, Lost Twin Lakes were the favorites), seeing many moose, and loving the place... Campgrounds are fantastic, even the pit...More

It totally depends on how much time you have- there are hour hikes or several day hikes; you can drive the forest roads or stay on the main highway. Atv trails can go for days and still not use the same road twice. North... More
