wonderful experience, informative, we are novice kayakers and snorkelers, yet the excursion went great, saw lots of fish, and felt safe doing it.

We had a great day, seeing many dolphins and fish. Mike was very knowable with a very strong personality. He doesn't like others breaking rules or laws, I'm glad we were on his team otherwise we wouldn't have known the rules/laws at captain cook point. All in All the day was fabulous and his story about captain cook was very... More

We were a group of 12 in 6 tandem kayaks. A good size. We left early and arrived at the Captain Cook monument before it became a bit of a zoo. Mike, the primary guide, is knowledgable, safety conscious, and witty. Great. Diana, a new guide, is doing a great job and is also knowledgable. Lunch was delicious and nutritious.... More

Good quality snorkel gear provided. Our guides were Mike and Corey. Mike does a great retelling of the Captain Cook story; very engaging presence and kid-friendly.

We were one of two couples on this trip which was advertised as friendly for people from 5-75. We are 62 and 65 and in good for our age. The other couple and guides did not add up to our combined ages. We were treated very dismissively and the time was not accurate. We left half an hour after designated... More

This is a great location for kids (8+) through adults. The water is crystal clear, calm and filled with wonderful fish and beautiful reef. This company take a maximum of 12 people and supply equipment. Bring your own if you like. Equipment is decent and guides are experienced but not natives or historians. It's the best way to see the... More

We chose the kayak trip when we returned to Hawaii after visiting in October and getting short changed on a boat trip to Kealakekua Bay. By kayaking, you can take in the entire bay as you paddle up from the other side, have plenty of time to snorkel, and get to go ashore and explore the area around the monument... More

Avoid booking with this company. Their customer service is terrible. Be aware that getting into the kayak is off an abandoned pier so there is a significant drop into the kayak. There is no beach launch point. Getting out of the kayak requires balancing on a floating kayak and having to hoist yourself up several feet onto that pier. The... More

Thanks for sharing your experience and we are sorry that our trip was too challenging for you and your guest. It might benefit readers to know that while there is a drop from the pier to the kayak it is typically only a foot to two, depending on the tide. A relatively minor drop that thousands of guests from ages... More
