Enjoyed this tour a lot. We had an excellent guide, Bruno, who was fun and knowledgeable about the process of growing and processing the excellent coffee they served at the start of the tour. The site itself was beautiful as well. We were there with a high school band and chaperones and they had no trouble handling the large numbers... More

We never got to take a tour-- but we sampled and bought some amazing coffee and the owner even came out to explain the differences between them. The view was breath taking and even included some whale watching.

We visited Kona joe's coffee plantation and did the tour which was very enlightening. Did not realise how coffee trees grew and how coffee should be stored to enhance its flavour. Tried the free samples of coffee and cho coated coffee beans and our guide Bruno was very knowledgeable and very passionate about coffee. He made the tour quite interesting.... More

Stopped by Kona Joe's last week to get my wife another coffee mug for her set. We took the tour years ago when we first visited. There are free samples in the gift shop. Very good coffee, but also very expensive.

Me and my girlfriend stopped by for a visit and to taste test. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but she LOVED their coffee. Afterwards we sat down to have breakfast. The chef came out and introduced himself and explained what his menu consisted of. SO polite and friendly. We had a great conversation about how each other ended... More

We visited Kona Joe's on a cruise of the Hawaiian islands in April. We are not snobby people but we are kind of Coffee snobs. Not knowing what to expect, we were thoroughly impressed by this trellised grown coffee. It is truly the smoothest coffee we have ever tasted!! It isn't cheap but no authentic Kona coffee is. We bought... More

My family and I visited the farm on April 1, 2017. At 1:35 we asked about a tour ($15 w/free coffee mug). We were told that they generally do them on the hour. We killed time in the gift shop waiting for the tour. At 1:55 we were informed that the tour would be delayed because the tour person was... More

We arrived during a time when there was no guided tour going on, but we were able to take the self-tour. You watch a video and look into the rooms and can read a description, but I imagine the guided tour is much better. There is a nice gift shop, where we stocked up on vacation gifts for the family...
