The museum volunteer was enthusiastic and welcoming. The museum covers not just the role and history of the railway but also some of the industry it served and the tsunami which led to its closure. Some interesting artefacts and photos. Would recommend it to anyone...More

My family and I stopped in for a few minutes that turned into an hour. The guide, David was great and knew about all the items on display.

Great place for information about the old Hawaiian railway system. Plenty of pictures & artifacts, even some videos. The collection of restored vehicles is very impressive, the volunteers have done a great job. An interesting place even for non-railroad fans

The train Museum was so cool! There were pictures from the early 1900's showing the way it was back then. There is trains there and one that you can go in. That was really cool! You do need to climb up it so be forewarned....More

This is not a full scale hands on Railroad Museum, but what a few volunteers (with donations and I'm sure a lot of sweat equity) have done is very cool. Currently no regular gauge trains run on the Island of Hawaii, fascinating that late 1890's...More
