Overview
More
Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Our hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

Stopped in here briefly on an island tour and found it interesting enough as we were explained the coffee process. They also supplied excellent Irish latte coffee along regular coffee tasting for those interested. Worth a short stop

Everyone should stop here on the way up to the volcano for coffee and snacks. There is nothing at the ranger center. On the way back stop fir fresh eggs.

Nice staff offered us samples of the 3 coffees on “tap”. The medium and dark roasts tasted sour. The flavored coffee in pineapple, while initially odd, was fairly decent. Maybe the flavor masked more bad coffee, not sure. Review by a home coffee roaster.More

Aloha Butterflipper, Mahalo for taking the time to give us your feedback. While the ‘taste’ of coffee is subjective, and usually a comparison to what you’re used to drinking, sour is certainly not one of the best attributes. Can you tell me the date of...More
