Was a rainy morning and we stopped at the park since there were still a lot of cars. Then checked the site on line and had to go see the pool despite the rain. Did put my feet in! Will definitely go back.

Our family absolutely love this spot. The water temperature is always hot, there are some beautiful fish for snorkeling and place is big enough that does not feel crowded. Also park nearby is a good spot for having lunch. This is another must do in...More

Hidden gem where one may while away the day swimming in a warm temperture cove that is fed by the ocean.

Warm water, waist to chest deep, big waves outside the wall, pretty gardens, and covered picnic areas. What's more not to like. Must stop.

We were lucky to find this! There is a life guard on duty. This is for locals and tourists. It is like a big public pool but it has a lot of good shade too.

Amazing warm water pond in a beautiful park . Only downside was that it could use clean bathroom and changing room.

We headed here as it was 5 mins away from Kapaho tide pools. The warm ponds are a local favourite so we had to wait a while for parking as we arrived in the afternoon. The water is warm. Really nice in winter.

We had gone snorkeling in the tide pools, and were chilly ... so this was a nice stop. Picnic in the sun and some warm water (not hot, but warmish). Tour buses stop by so lots of people in and out.

We loved this after a long early morning hike on the lava fields. Off the beaten path. Free, bring your suits, and a picnic. Low tide warmer than high tide due to the lava tubes. We loved this place

What a highlight for us. There is an eclectic group of locals that were here. A Van that had a couch on top, music playing, and a cat hanging out for the day. There are a few local venders including a message therapist. Then the...More

OK... To set the record straight... and as a point of reference, I live here. The charm of our area is the feeling of remoteness (yet easily in reach of main amenities in Hilo) or disconnectivity (from the madness that... More

To test of my knowledge, it's open 7 days/week. They have their own website; I just couldn't access it this morning.
