Week at Paniola Greens

Played this course twice while staying at Paniola Greens. Course is very forgiving thankfully. Friendly people all over the course. Big Island is best.

We had a wonderful time playing 18 holes!!! Ugh. The weather was perfect. The service was impeccable. The golf carts had built on coolers. We didn't receive any course alcohol service but drank up at the bar before hand. We met up with some people we met at the airport and we all had a great time as a group.... More

Better rates for golfing 18 here. Golf carts are available or walk the course. Sandwich and drink cart goes around serving golfers with adequate facilities along the way.

If you want resort style golf with fancy shirts and white belts, go to Mauna Kea. If you want to play golf in a natural location where the golf course design is determined by the lay of the land instead of where best place to put dirt down is....play here. If you want to plan in a surreal unnatural setting,... More

Got to enjoy 18 holes with the family on a gorgeous Hawaiian winter day. Got carts and full 18 for three people for less than $150 so it was a heck of a deal. Challenging yet forgiving filled with vacationers and locals alike. If you like to play golf and want to save a buck where things can get expensive,... More

This is a friendly local hangout. We were greeted by two happy and helpful guys at the sign in desk. They allowed us to tee off straightaway despite us having a much later tee time. The starter was efficient and accommodating; There are beautiful vistas of the ocean from many holes and plenty of trees and flowers. The fairways are... More

The Waikoloa Village Golf Course is a public course that you can book on line for rates that are approx. 50% of what you will pay at the big name resort courses. The course itself is moderately challenging and is very well suited for the average golfer who shoots between 80 and 120. The holes aren't particularly long but well... More

We played this golf course a couple of times during our recent stay on the island of Hawaii. The course has wide fairways and water on only one hole (#18). It's in excellent shape, especially for a public course. The Pro Shop staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The green fees are more than reasonable. If you're looking for a... More

Very enjoyable golf, well maintained and friendly staff. Clubhouse has seen better days but we went to play golf and enjoyed it. Good pro shop and good club rentals.
