This is a great view and definately worth the stop. View is of the valley and the taro fields. It's an easy quick stop when traveling the north shore. It's really just a 10 minute stop, do it on your way to some other activity as its nothing to go out of your way for.

Just pull off the road and park for about 5 minutes to see a very picturesque photo op! We were snapping photos when my daughter saw a fellow student from the University of Dayton there!! It is really a pretty image with he mountains in the back and the taro fields in the foreground.

A quick stop along the highway (going North). Do take a moment to stop and take a pictue or two. There are always other people to help with "selfies"

The Hanalei Valley lookout was pretty to see - and a nice stop to stretch your legs while driving on the island.

This small turnout on the way from Princeville to Hanalei is worth the stop. There are beautiful views of the taro fields below and the mountains in the distance. This is a great photo op and a quick stop.

Enjoy the vistas on your drive into Hanalei, look out over the vast taro fields. Stop if you can after you pass through the one lane bridge and snap some gorgeous pictures

The lookout has one of the best view in Kauai, feels like Vietnam. After a few minutes stop at the lookout on a sunny day, I recommend driving into the valley itself to see the fields. Going down the main road towards the Kalalau trail, there is a single lane bridge in 2 sections. Most people turn right after the... More

I like to stop here when I first arrive as it is the first peek at the Hanalei area which is so different from the rest of the island. The taro fields stretch for acres to the craggy peaks in the distance. It's a beautiful sight. I took a picture in my mind because my phone was dead!
