It is right off the road and I do mean right off and offers an amazing view of the valley below. Green fam land and a rolling river through it. Stop and see it will only take you 30seconds to pars and can gaze for as long as you like. A great place for a photo also.

Just outside Princeville, a nice little stop to view the taro fields and the gorgeous valley set against the mountains. The wild chickens will come looking for food - drive away slowly as they hover around the car!

This location is probably the best place to see where taro is grown. It is a beautiful little patterned area with the river going through. A very photogenic location.

The jungle, the mountains, the lush fields, the beaches are all worth the drive. Leave early if you're coming from the south to miss the traffic in Kapaa. Bring a rain jacket just in case as the clouds can back up against the mountain. Go to the end of the road and enjoy the many beaches and have lunch in... More

Pull off the Ross before the Princeville shopping center. Great spot for a really nice view and a "Kodak moment" with a loved one! Won't take a lot of time and worth seeing!

Head north out of Princeville and stop at the vistas on the way to Hanalei. Beautiful and breathtaking vistas. At the bottom of the road, just past the bridges is a wonderful place to pull over and look for Hawaiian ducks, Hawaiian Black-necked Stilts, Hawaiian Coots and Hawaiian Gallinules. Do not walk into the farm lands, that is private property.

This is a great view and definately worth the stop. View is of the valley and the taro fields. It's an easy quick stop when traveling the north shore. It's really just a 10 minute stop, do it on your way to some other activity as its nothing to go out of your way for.

Just pull off the road and park for about 5 minutes to see a very picturesque photo op! We were snapping photos when my daughter saw a fellow student from the University of Dayton there!! It is really a pretty image with he mountains in the back and the taro fields in the foreground.
