We had a great time visiting the gardens, and learned a lot. I have no regrets about our visit, but don't consider it a must see destination. Things to know: they have a lot of plants that aren't native (fine for us, but not the...More

The garden was very special. Very well maintained and an exceptional collection of Hawaiian flora and fauna. The only negative was our guide. He enjoyed his job, but wasn't quite the most effective leader. Nonetheless, glad we went. It is a little slice of paradise!

Most wonderful selection of exotic trees from Teak, Mahogany, Bread-Fruit, Rambutan, Papaya, Coco, Rainbow-Eucalyptus and many more. The 3.5hr guided tour was great. Our tour guide James Patterson was very knowledgeable yet modest. The highlight of the tour was a visit to a family of...More

Our guide , Sandy, had a long history with this garden. She was very knowledgeable and accomodating. Most of the plants are trees. If you want flowers this is not the place. I love orchids and there were a few very nice ones.

Do not miss visiting this marvelous botanical and sculpture gardens. Do make reservations in advance. The garden is only accessed on a tour and they keep the tour groups small, which is very nice. They have special tours for families with small children and a...More

I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.

Sorry for the late response. I would think that infants would be allowed on the tram. You could always call and ask them. They are very friendly and helpful.
