This is my 4th trip to Kauai and I always drive up to the falls. It is about 6 miles from Lihue Airport and on a dead end road. The recent rains have filled the falls, but they are a bit muddy. In the past...More

Beautiful. Don't miss any part of Kauaii. The island scenery is beautiful. Mountains, canyons, waterfalls, every extreme with exotic foliage.

While on Kauai we had to visit the "fantasy island" falls since we both watched the show growing up. You can only see the falls from the road above. Head over to Opaeka Falls, since its not that far way.

Great view of falls without much time spent here. Dead end road so you can't get lost. Just watch out for the chickens they are all over the place.

Wow very very stunning. The water drop is actually higher then Niagara Falls, 173 feet but this one is smaller in overall width. Parking is limited so get there early.

It only takes about 10 extra minutes to get there off the main road and is worth it to see! We got to see it and take pictures from driving there and from flying over it on the tour from WINGS OVER KAUAI and it...More

You don't need to spend much time here to see the falls. They're right alongside the road. Pretty to look at. There's a path to walk down to the bottom where the water pools and people were swimming. Also, there's a path to go stand...More

Those falls are easily accessible by car and even if the parking is limited, most people do not stay there too more than a few minutes so you won't have to wait too long for a spot. We were there in April and it had...More

Most definitely drive to see these falls. No hiking required (just a short walk). Very pretty and fairly close to the main highway

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More
