Excellent view from the road, but way better from up in the air! Good photo opportunities. Road in was decent.

was our second time to Kauai .. but the first time to see the waterfall. Unfortunately this week the weather was lousy ... no sun or blue sky .. just chilly and rain. We tried to make the best of it and see some stuff....More

I love waterfalls... and this one was absolutely beautiful. This experience left me feeling at peace and in wonder of this beautiful Island. I can't wait to return to explore some more of this amazing place. Rose

The four mile drive to get to the falls is on a windy road, and can be tricky if there was recently any heavy downpours, but it's worth the drive. The falls themselves are beautiful.

We went to enjoy the waterfall and it was beautiful! Super lush and green. But the lady that had the banana coconut bread was our favorite! She also had pineapple bread. Go early. We were there about 10:30 and she was almost out of bread....More

This was our first "attraction" stop on our trip. The falls are cool, lots of birds flying around, easy parking. We did the "stare at it from the road" thing like most tourists and it was a perfect use of an hour or so. Several...More

The falls were nice and full. Look for the beautiful rainbow at the base of the fall. Parking is very limited, so you may have to wait for someone to come out.

This waterfall was just a short drive from where we went tubing, and was easily viewed from the road for those that don’t want to hike. Parking was available.

Takes some sting to get there but worth it....could use more parking during peak times. Not sure what time they turn off the water;-)

We did a canoe ride and hike tour to the falls. It was so much fun and even that far up in the hills we were still not out of chicken range. They were even at the falls waiting to share our lunches. :)

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More
