Easy drive, beautiful view. It rained the night before so lots of water. Not much for parking. Where they filmed the beginning of Fantasy Island

A dead end road takes you to the falls, which is at the turnaround point. We went at about 10:00am and had no trouble parking. We spent about 5 minutes admiring the falls and taking pictures, and then left. A local vendor was selling trinkets...More

It took us about 20 minutes for drive from our resort in Kapaa to the falls. Parking is very limited at the end of the road so something needs to be done about this. The waterfall is beautiful with height about 100 to 140 feet....More

we always take a short ride up the see the Wailua Falls as it is beautiful. One year we even saw two wild boars . That was great seeing them in the wild.

The falls can be easily reached by car. There were swimmers below the falls so there must be a way to hike in for the adventurous

Good photo spot. Very busy, but cars do not stay long and you will get a spot. A local sells banana bread.

Keep your expectations very low and you won’t be disappointed. It’s an easy 4 miles from the 56. Take couple of pictures and move on.

This waterfall was at the end of a long road, little parking and nothing else. I think it would be more of a destination if there were restrooms and picnic tables with more parking. The falls were raging as there was exceptional rain. They were...More

Wow, what an amazing site. The falls are beautiful but be prepared to wait for a parking place. We went on Super Bowl Sunday when I was raining HARD.. and we still had to wait!! Gorgeous view.

Wailua Falls number one is worth the trip, but not necessary to hike to enjoy. When we went, it was raining off and on so it would be hard to tell if it was normally passable. Even so the view as are many on Kaui, a... More

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More
