It was really easy to get to Wailua Falls and we were pleasantly surprised to see such a big and beautiful waterfall when we arrived. Parking was very easy and there is a railing where you can view the waterfall from.

The TV show Fantasy Island, featured these Falls in the opening of the show and they are absolutely beautiful! The dead-end road to the falls will seem far. Parking is bare minimum - not much and turning around can be a challenge if its crowded....More

We rent a boat about 11:00 at the rental station next the Kamokila Hawaiian Village. Short paddling to the path. And further muddy walk to the fall. Very nice fall but lots of people. Went back to the boat and paddled some hours through the...More

The drive to the waterfall is easy and accessible to see close to the road. A must see. A very beautiful drive and I highly recommend doing this while on Kauai.

It was absolutely beautiful. The water is crystal clear and it’s an amazing place to spend the day. We packed a picnic lunch and just relaxed. It was serene. would highly recommend you to visit the falls. Got some great photos and even better memories.

Short drive from Lihue to these falls/ worth getting out to take pictures but thought the people climbing down to the falls behind the fence were crazy. Very steep and a great way to ruin your vacation. If it's fenced off, it's done for a...More

If you haven't been to many falls, this one is nice but is very small on the Falls scale. If you need a short excursion this would be it.

This is mainly just a quick stop/photo opportunity at the dead end of a road, but the falls are pretty cool. There aren't any official hiking trails here, and the signs strongly discourage you from trying to navigate your way down to the bottom of...More

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More

It's not particularly steep, but can be problematic during rainy periods. Active terms and adults should have no problems. Then there's the nice dip in the pool at the end.
