This is so perfect to see if you have to fly out that day and go see something quickly. Its close enough to the airport. And you drive right up to the location. Parking is limited but the turnover is fast since you grab and...More

Must to see these falls are just beautiful, along with the drive to see them. Parking can get crowded but people tend to leave pretty quickly.

These falls are located right off the main road in Lihue, which is nice if you aren't in the mood for a long hike or having to pay to see them. Unfortunately, be ready for some crazy parking situations as there is very limited parking...More

Follow the signs from the main highway, google, or get a guide map/program to find your way down a lovely country road to Wailua Falls. You'll pass through some lovely countryside, over and under bridges, see mountains, streams, birds, flora and fauna, until you arrive...More

It's cool to see the waterfalls. It it's far from the best sight. Not breathtaking but worth a look, especially if you're in the area.

There is water everywhere in Kaua'i and lots of it. These falls are not the tallest but quaintly set with a small circular pool at the bottom. The viewing angle is a bit awkward and parking is difficult especially later in the day. You aren't...More

You can view this waterfall from the street above. Yes, it's pretty and definitely worth the drive to see but were disappointed how far we were. Also, we were told you can hike to & swim in the waterfall but this didn't work out. There...More

Flew over in open door helicopter, then took a drive to the lookout, totally unique experiences, well worth the money.

Awesome view. Hidden trail to the bottom. Wear your hiking boats to descend and bring water shoes to protect your feet if your going swimming due to the sharp and "hot" rocks. The climb is normally muddy with lots of limbs and ropes to help...More

Easy to get to. Theres a small parking lot or park on the road. You may have to wait for someone to leave but well worth it. We found a parking spot fast.

We only saw the falls from the lookout as we were on our way to the north part of the island for the day in our rented car.

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More

It's not particularly steep, but can be problematic during rainy periods. Active terms and adults should have no problems. Then there's the nice dip in the pool at the end.
