We came at a lower tide and it was not quite what I expected. Still pretty to see, recommend researching the tide schedule before visiting.

Every visit to Kauai has included a visit to Spouting Horn. You pass a great snorkeling beach and the Beach House restaurant on your way there. Across the road is the visitor center to Allerton Gardens, also worth a visit. Well worth a visit.

You will not be disappointed to watch this natural wonder. There is an area to wait and watch with delight for the spout! Enjoy the nature, the roosters and chickens, its a must see.

We were told of this attraction by a local and we were so glad that we went to see it! The wind was blowing a lot which added to the beauty of this attraction. We would loved to have stayed longer, but time constraints made us move on with a great big sigh!

It was fun to see the Spouting Horn - it is relaxing to just stand and watch. I did not feel that the area around the site was as well kept as it once was. Also, the vendors in the vendor area were only so-so and not very friendly.

A slight detour of the beaten track. Good place to see some lava on the coast. Blow hole isn't really to exciting. Over all a nice diversion. Has some trinket shops and washrooms. Lovely views.

I am not sure it is worth an extra trip or more than 5 minutes. It spouted and looked like an average spout...go to Yellowstone if you want spouts.

If you have limited time on the island, skip this. Lots of tourists waiting around for higher water to spurt out for the perfect picture. It is close to Poipu beach, so if you have time, go after a beach visit. Otherwise, look at the pictures others have taken. It's as good as it gets.

Spouting horn is pretty cool, but I wouldn't make a trip out just to see it, best to combine it with poipu beach and/or other things in the area. There are some cool tide pools nearby if you climb over the rocks for a bit. Some souvenir vendors too.
