Interesting to the history buff, but otherwise a nice pile of rocks and ocean views. If your on your way to the canyon, why not stop its a good stretch point.

There is not too much left to see, but the history is very interesting. It doesn't take too long to see everything. It is worth a stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Old fortification on the coast, the outer boulder covered earth walls being all that remains. The fortification was used to secure a provisioning station for Russian - American ships trading between the American Northwest and Asia.

The physical presence of the fort is a bit disappointing in that not much is there, but to view it and to think about the time in which it was used, who it was used by, and the conditions in Hawaii at the time make...More

We stopped at this park. There is nothing there except a sign, some rocks and a restroom that need repair. We were there about three minutes.

It may be the historic site of a once interesting Fort, but now there is nothing left. Pity. A few foundation stones and a state park plaque.

Not much of a fort, mainly ruins and only a quick stop. I would recommend reading on-line and not waste time stopping.

We enjoyed the rock stairs and the overlook. I imagined times past and the battles that took place here.

We stopped just a few minutes to take the time to eat a snack on our way back from Hanapepe Valley. Would not spend too much time to visit this historical site.
