Quick hike through cow pastures and guava trees. The sunrise is really something special. Plus, you can have a big breakfast after, and feel completely justified, having hiked up a decent hill before 6am.

Although not a religious person I make it a habit to hike up here every morning whenever I'm in Hana for the solitude and views. Well worth the hike and if you're lucky and it's mango season you might be able to snag a mango...More

Seriously, how does this even rate as an "attraction"? It's a big, plain cross in a bare patch of land. Nothing to see, no real reason to come here. Find something better to see in Hana.

Just a beautiful place to embrace your faith. You can truly feel the magic and history flowing trough the place, make sure to read up on the story of Fagan's cross beforehand to get the full effect.

This is a bit of a walk straight up the hill but when you get there, the view is breath taking and surrounded by fragrant and beautiful Tiare Gardenias.

A visit to Fagan's Cross is an inspiring place especially knowing the history behind the cross erected to remember the man who resurrected Hana.

There is some amazing history behind why this cross was placed! Make sure to read up on it or listen to one of the guides on the way by it! Fagan was a big part of why Maui is what it is today.

The climb is steep in some areas but it is paved all of the way. This is also a cow pasture so mind where you step. Loved the gardenia hedge. My day was overcast so the view was nice but not spectacular. However since it...More

The cross was built in 1960 in honor of Paul Fagan who established cattle ranching in Hana.
