Maui Dive Shop offers small group SCUBA diving trips to at least two different destinations every day of the week.

Maka Koa, our Pro 48' V-Hull, twin-engine, jet driven dive boat, takes up to 24 divers out of Maalaea Harbor, providing comfortable seating and amenities for a quick, safe, convenient ride to each dive location. The boat is equipped with a marine head (bathroom), fresh water shower, padded seating, and all necessary safety equipment. Knowledgeable crew members will provide an on board briefing to familiarize you with the boat, our equipment, and the spectacular marine life. A full breakfast and deli lunch, as well as refreshments, will be served on board. Free transportation from the South & West sides of the island is also available.

NOTE: We do offer Introductory Dives from the beach for anyone interested in trying SCUBA diving.

Amazing crew on the 3 hour snorkel tip - saw whales up close from the boat and even turtles - the snorkeling along the ref was superb - one of us did the huka dive and are now determined to get scuba certified.. Fantastic hospitality with snacks and our favorite beverages- crew was exceptionally accommodating- kudos to Captain Rick, hukamaster... More

Well organized, attentive, safe and lots of fun. The Molokini Crater/Turtle Town dives were, lacking a lot of colour, enjoyable rather than jaw-dropping, but the highlight was in fact having our boat mobbed by humpback wales on the way back – much more close and personal than on the whale watch tour we had been on the same week.

Great trip with Captain Chris, Gill and Rivers. one of best dive briefings I have ever had especially for someone who had not dived in a while. Breakfast, snacks and lunch and drinks provided. picked us up at hotel. Equipment was modern and labelled and they took care of everything. We dove Cathedrals (I and II) and Molokini deep wall... Fantastic trip with Captain Isiah and our Dive Guide Dave! Lots of colorful butterflies, triggerfishes, tangs and puffers, then close ups with green sea turtles!! On the way back into port, we had a few closeup whale encounters too!! A whale dive tail "money shot", then a baby and two adults swam right next to the boat and then under... More

Really poor quality snorkel equipment...Take my advice and rent snorkel gear elsewhere. Overpriced for very, very, very poor products - much better deals and higher quality snorkel gear right down the street or elsewhere on the island. Many of the sales staff are very snotty, and make customers feel like they're are looking down their nose at you, when I... More

Took the trip to Molokini and Turtle Town on Jan 24th. Captain Chris and his crew are total pros. Rivers, our dive master, did a great job finding and pointing out all kinds of interesting aquatic life, preceded by a comprehensive orientation and safety briefing. The icing on the cake was seeing a humpback whale breach off the bow of... More

I dove with Maui Dive on January 13th. We did the St. Anthony ship wreck dive and Molokini Crater. I had booked 4 dives for that day but the afternoon dives got cancelled as it was just myself and one other person booked and they require 6 people to go out. As disappointing as that was, they were professional about... More

Came here to rent snorkeling equipment for the family. Clerk explained to us weather conditions weren't right. We arranged for another day to come back and rent the equipment. Lots of nice beaches for families to try snorkeling. They give you fish guides to help with identification and defogger for the masks. The equipment was like new and everything worked... More

My party of eight went to Maui Dive Shop to rent snorkel equipment. It took 40 minutes and there were very few other customers in the store. It was painful. The beautiful day was wasting away outside while we had to wait for certain computers to open up for certain clerks. Also, they forgot to include a clip that attaches... More

Extremely impressed with the team at Maui Dive Shop. In almost 3 years of diving never came across a better group. Everything was ready on the boat before leaving (except for wetsuit which I needed to get from the shop). Boat was stocked with breakfast, snacks after 1st dive, and lunch after 2nd dive. Great group, Sam, John, Steve and... More
