I've paid money for a snorkel trip that wasn't as good as just wading out into this beach. 20 feet and it's turtles, coral and fish.....

Both Kam 1 and Kam 2 are among the worlds best beaches. 1/4-1/2 mile of beautiful sand, lifeguard, and sandy bottom in the water..... no rocks in the main swim areas. Kam 2 has a nice shade tree on the beach from early morning to...More

We visited this beach multiple times during our week stay in January. Go early as it is calmer in the morning and wind typically picks up in the afternoon. Not overly crowded and they have facilities to wash off the sand etc.

All beaches in Maui are beautiful! This was our favorite beach because it was great for swimming. It's a long beach so lots of people use it for walking in the morning and there is plenty of room for everyone to find a spot on...More

There is a walking path between the 3 beaches. There are lava outflows that the waves crash against, whales breaching, benches to sit on or a few meters over just go sit on the beach or swim. Really enjoyed the views.

Very convenient location near plenty of shops and restaurants. Has public shower and washroom. We had some great snorkelling times and saw lots of different animals in the water. You gotta be careful around the rocks though, you can easily cut your self cause they...More

This great park was less than a block from our vacation rental. Great kids play area, beach, and grassed areas. And oh the view for sunsets, awesome. Perfect

Was a nice beach to visit. A bit quieter then Kamaole Beach I. The best place in Kihei to watch the sunset.

There are water showers to wash the sand off of you (they are located outside though), but no, there are no beach chairs. You have to bring one from your resort (if they provide one).

There isn't a charge to use any of the beaches on Maui. If you are not staying at a place on the beach, look for a public access area.
