The divemasters were good on the boat, but the captain and his first mate were less than stellar. Buddy checks seem to be ignored on many dive boats, but I insist upon them. I felt rushed by the crew to skip components of the buddy check, even after they set up dive kit with a gas cylinder only half full.... More

What sets Ed Robinson Dive Adventures apart from other operators is their 'aloha' approach to diving. They truly want to share the beauty of Hawaii with their customers to ensure a memorable experience, rather than others that are racing to get out to dive sites and back as quickly as possible. If on an ERDA trip when humpback whales are... More

My first ocean dive after being recently certified. Dive master Jose was extremely encouraging and made me feel very safe. Small group of 12 divided among 2 dive masters. Saw lots of fish, including frog fish. Not the friendliest staff on the boat itself, they were a bit condescending and sarcastic. Perhaps that's the dive culture? Highlight of the day... More

We dove twice last week with Ed Robinson's diving adventures. It was a well run boat, with other well trained divers on board, no students or newbies. The DMs we were with on both days were outstanding and found lots of little critters we may have missed (nudibranchs for example). Captain Bird is amazing, extremely skilled at getting us to... Excellent 2-tank dive with Captain Bird, Kim, Joe and Jose! Great ride out on the Sea Spirit to Molokini Crater. The crew was great!! Very friendly, got to know everyone on board, only 12 divers plus crew. Helped everyone with their equipment, went in with giant stride, helped everyone back on board with choppy seas. Wonderful hospitality and snacks: pop,... More

Dove with this company for 3 days this week and had a really great time. Joe and Dave are great dive masters and Bird is a fantastic captain. Got to go to some sites we had never been before which was nice...and I think they were one of the only companies to brave the winds! We also really appreciated them... More

We have used this dive company whenever we are in Maui. The staff is always friendly fun and courteous. They will cater your dives to your skill and comfort level. While you are welcome to bring your own gear they do provide quality rental gear at reasonable pricing. We were fortunate enough to get up close with whales while between... More

We received a recommendation from our Hotel to contact Ed Robinson's for our diving excursions. Before arriving on Maui I was planning our trip and I spoke a couple of times with the nice lady in the office at Ed Robinson's. She was very accommodating and informative. She asked what we liked (and didn't like) and ultimately we decided on... More

This is our "go-to" dive operator in Maui. They operate out of the South Kihei Boat Ramp, and go to South Maui and Molokini locations. They operate a boat with a capacity of ten or 12 divers, and have dive masters to make sure the groups are no larger than five or six. Good quality equipment and the crew are... More

If you go with Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures and you are lucky enough to go with Toby you can be sure that what ever your experience or your comfort level you will have a wonderful day. I have been snorkeling many times, but still learned some new tips from Toby, and saw lots of great fish! I really appreciated how... More
