I paid $10 for the tour reserved online (I was the only person on the tour!) and I recommend it. It was about half an hour or more and the guide explained all about the different varieties of lavender and even picked samples for me...More

You can learn a lot about lavender here by taking the tour or do it yourself. Views are spectacular; walking is challenging with hills and 4000 ft. elevation; weather can be chilly. There is a well stocked gift shop with everything from salves and oils...More

My niece took me to the Alii Kula Lavender Farm today for a peaceful, relaxing walk through the gardens. The views were spectacular and the tropical foliage was breathtaking!

Situated on the slopes of Haleakala, of course the view is amazing. A walk through the gardens to view the many plants is a must. Finish off with a visit to the gift shop for everything Lavender. I always come away smelling great from trying...More

We stopped in after visiting the winery. The lavenders were very pretty! The views from the property are gorgeous. We enjoyed walking around the gardens. They have a small gift shop with all things lavender as well as a few snacks with lavender. Definitely worth...More

Been here many times and it is still a personal and family favorite place to visit. Highlights are the panoramic bi-coastal views, quietness, cool temperatures, beauty of the farm, and the unique lavender treats. My 8 year old requested a one on one date with...More

Beautiful farm, a great break from the beach. Lavender scones with lavender lilikoi jelly were excellent with a cup of coffee. The spouse didn't want to walk so it was a quick visit. It's less than two miles away from our home so we will...More

Visited after a breakfast tour with o'o farms just down the street. Google is not the best at getting you to the actual location. Google brings you to the gates, you just need to continue straight up the road and you'll see the entrance. I...More

This was an okay place to visit. To me, its just walking around looking at plants. No big deal. However, the views were spectacular. The did at least have clean out-houses for use.

Allow at least an hour but I agree with the other responder--this isn't worth a special trip. Makawao is a cute town to visit and the surfing goat dairy is anothe fun diversion if you head up country.
