I have been to Maui several times, but this was my first visit to Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm. It is a hidden treasure on Haleakala. The guided tour was wonderful, thank you Mia. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of Lavender. The gift shop is full of great things made of Lavender, the multifunctional herbal healing... More

You gotta be a plant/flower person to appreciate this place. Although lots of different plants & flowers, it just wasn't for us. Plus none of the Lavender was in bloom.

We would recommend this to any small group. We had extra time after we arrived at the airport before we could check into our hotel, so we called made a tour reservation (by calling in advance, it saved us $3 a piece). We were lucky to be the only people on the tour (started at 2:30pm). Our tour guide, Jarrett,... More

Unless you have time to kill or reallllllly like lavender I'd spend time elsewhere. Like the beach. We went because my mom like essential oils and we had time to kill. Its a nice place up high so you have nice views of the island. Go when its sunny, otherwise you have to photoshop your pictures to look bright and... More

Nice to visit on the way from Grandma's coffee shop & up to watch sundown at Haleakala, the shop was very expensive & we were not going to part with further cash to just hear the history & different types of Lavender..

We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) who went on the 30 minute tour of the farm. We showed up a bit late for our pre-paid tour time, but they accommodated us on the next tour - which was very nice of them. It was very informative, and we all loved getting to smell the different... More

We were already in Kula to visit the Surfing Goat Dairy, so I thought we'd just pop over to the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm. I would not drive this far from the typical tourist cities (e.g., West Maui or South Maui) just for the farm. We can say we did it, but we all agreed it wasn't worth returning. I... More

Granted, it was a beautiful journey through the hills of Maui to get there. We attempted to go here on our way back from doing the Road to Hana all the way around. We drove to where our gps told us to go, however there was no signage or anything telling you where it is located. We parked the car,... More

The Farm was worth the trip. Frank The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We ordered lunch when we made our reservations and it was devious. Next time we come to Maui we will have to come back. Lunch must be ordered 24 hours in advance but it was worth it. Thank You Lavender Farm we had a great... More

Kind of underwhelming, but maybe that was due to the time of year and overcast conditions blocking the views. Small and quaint, open area to meander through the garden. A nice low key spot if you've got a really green thumb.
