We went to the gardens just after it opened in the morning. Beautiful clear and sunny but apparently it clouds over by one every day. Was a bit cool as it is located half way up the mountain. Many of the plants came from Australia. Got to see the protected Hawaiian bird. We also got to meet the owner. Very... More

Our family was traveling upcountry and stumbled into the Kula Botanical Garden and was very pleased with the experience. The cost is very reasonable compared to some of the other activities we had looked into--nice when you are traveling with a larger group! We enjoyed over an hour walking around looking at the various plants. Beautiful, casual afternoon. Very enjoyable!

A very sweet, vast, and thoughtful garden laid out so beautifully. Every turn was eye-catching close up and then the view would be extra grand.

Visit this place if you have an hour to kill. It's not that well cared for. Some serious weeding and raking would do a world of good. It looks like they need to put some money into this place to get it to the next level. They do have some interesting things to look at. Take it for what it's worth,... More

It was nice and peaceful and a great way to spend an afternoon with family. My mom enjoyed it tremendously since she loves plants. $10 per person entrance fee. I'd bring a jacket with me next time since it was a bit windy.

We visited one afternoon. The entrance fee is $10 per adult. The grounds, built on a steep hillside, offered a hack system to view all the different areas, from the koi pond at the base to an area for the endangered nene. Along the way were a macadamia nut tree, protea, exotic orchids & birds of paradise as well as... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit the this garden. Not the best time of year so we weren't sure what to expect, but we weren't disappointed. It's not as big as other gardens, but it's worth a visit for sure.

This was our second visit to these gardens and we were really disappointed. Many of the plants appeared to be less than healthy and the gardens looked like they could use some upkeep. Would not recommend this attraction.

After the busy roadways and heat of the resorts/beaches/towns on the coast, this Garden was a much needed, much appreciated respite during our week in Maui. A lot of interesting trees/plants/flowers and a quiet stroll through the beds for a couple of hours gave my husband and I the break we needed from the bustle of the rest of the... More

We enjoyed our stop at the botanical Garden. Looking for beautiful tropical flowers and several were in bloom. It's a quiet peaceful setting if you're looking for quiet time.
