At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

Absolutely phenomenal production. I have been to every Luau on Maui in the 40 years that I've lived here. After reading the reviews of this. I can understand some of the mixed opinions. Expectations verses reality. With family visiting the Island, I suggested lets go...More

We've been to the Old Lahaina Luau in the past and it was so so in our opinion. When we were referred to the Westin Wailele Luau it was the difference between night and day. We've been twice now and would certainly go again even...More

Paid for premium seating and although we did get a front row seat, it was a seat facing the side of the stage. Who wants to see that? The dancers and band were excellent, from what I could see but the sound system was horrendous....More

We loved this show, having been referred by the Westin Ocean Resort Villas. While everything about the performance was wonderful, the physical plant where the show is performed was overcrowded with many tables only having partial views. At least six tables should be removed from...More

Not a fan of Luaus. This one opened with a Polynesian comedian. He was hilarious. Great musicians. Great dancers. More costume changes than at a Cher concert. Food was above average. I though it was well worth the cost for premium seating. All in all...More

We attended the luau on New Year's Eve. The price was higher than stated on the web-site. The hotel booking agent explained that, because it was New Year's Eve, it was "special event" pricing. We paid an additional fee for "premium seating" - also at...More
