This was a really fun activity! My husband and I were escorted through the jungle, and up through the hills, on two lovely horses. It was just the two of us and our guide, a very nice guy from Idaho. We saw lush foliage, heard about the flora and fauna, and got to see Maui in a very unique way.... More

My sisters and I wanted to go horse riding on Maui. They straight away told us that the trail conditions weren't great because of the rain but told us what trails were possible. We went on a 1 hour ride, through beautiful forest areas and learnt about Maui, and then at the top we had great views through to the... More

The ride was so great for all members of the family. Our guide was knowledgeable about local history and ecology which made the trip even better. The horses were mellow and easy to handle for us novice riders. It was a challenge to communicate before our day at the ranch and to set up a confirmed time given that we... More

Nice and laid back trail ride in a scenic area. Good for younger kids who want to ride on their own. Great guides and my favorite feature at the ranch -- Romeo the border collie.

My 8 y/o daughter and I went together for this excursion. What a great one it was! The horses were great and easy to handle even for the beginner rider. The ride starts through the forest and ends up in the old pineapple fields. Once there the view was amazing! Our guides for the day were Gina and Angel. They... More

We had a great ride and learned about the history of the island from our guide. We saw some stunning views. My husband had never been riding before and he enjoyed it. We also left with some free citrus from their trees.

Horse back riding at the Ironwood ranch in Maui is a trail that weaves through 1500 acres of fallow land. Full of the ironwood pines the trail is interesting and treacherous because of rain which makes the hill side slippery. Our guide was knowledgeable and very cautious. Over all it is a great activity and really worth the time and... More

One of our favourite activities for my wife and me whenever we visit Hawaii is to go horse riding on a ranch . Ironwood came highly recommended and we visited it. It was overall a good experience what I liked was how all the horses had these celebrity names.. But what it lacks are the overall experience that you get... More

Love this ranch and the staff are fabulous! Easy to find with lots of parking. Gorgeous views on our ride and the horses were perfect and easy to ride. Dani was our guide and I highly recommend her. Only comment...if you make a reservation, be on time because it's inconsiderate to keep others and the staff waiting. Looking forward to... More

My equestrian daughter did not want to ride here because of how they cared for the horses - try Lahaina Stables instead!
