This place has been around for a long time. My mother got photos here 18 years ago and this year my husband and I went to get some done too since we were in Maui. To make it a sort of family tradition now. The guy was nice and the birds are just perched on the stands, waiting for people... More

The birds are always standing there waiting for pictures. The place is hot and is not nice. They are delivered in the stand by boxes in a van. The man who "sells" them tells that they have some birds and they are not always the same every day, but is not nice anyway! Really bad!!

I wouldn't go. The birds may be pretty but they're pretty messy too and you can't even hardly walk by it with out being attacked by a guy that wants you to get your picture made with these poopy birds. Look but don't touch!!!

This made a great engagement photo for our friends who just got engaged earlier on the beach. The birds are very well trained and lovely to watch.

hilarious family pics with kicked back parrot who lays back in kid's hand. Saw toddler absolutely freaking out with episode out of Alfred Hitchcock movie, "The Birds' .... parents insisted on a picture . Staff did what they could but the kids will someday force those parents to pose with circling Tiger Sharks as pay-back !

These birds seem very well cared for--we waited 5 minutes or so while the birds were swapped out with a new group of birds.

We have been to this stand four times. TWICE for pictures and twice just to hang out with the personable photographers and gorgeous birds. Fun, pictures came out great and we may be back again before the trip is over!

First of all, the birds seem to be healthy and having fun. I would hate this place if the birds seemed mistreated. Five of us have had pictures taken with them when we visit our parents on Maui, and the photos are a great souvenir. It's quite a treat we don't find elsewhere.

Any time you have animals posing for pictures with strangers, it is a bad idea. The photographer seems friendly enough, but what do these birds go through in training, to be able to do what he says on command. When the birds do not react correctly, they were squirted with a water bottle! When a fun way for a beautiful,... More
