It was nice to have a beach that wasn't super crowded. The waves were a bit high in December but the fish are still swimming. The coral is deep down so that protects the coral from the nasty people who step on it. The sand...More

great park/beach to visit when the water is calm. The reef spans the whole beach and there is something for everyone: grassy area, shade, bathrooms, wide beach and of course- amazing coral reefs!

Snorkeling was so much better than Olowalu, and much more user friendly with showers, restrooms, and good parking.

Love this beach. Lots of parking, nice washrooms and great reefs with easy access. We saw large schools of fish and several sea turtles. I would always return to this beach. Also had Standup Paddle board rentals at a hotel nearby.

It was the best beach to me. I just want to return and spent 7 days in this beach only. One of the best place for snorkeling, great view, etc

I've seen so many great beaches on Maui in my visits, it's weird I've become a beach snob. Last likely, overall the best beach in Maui is whatever is outside your hotel, but for those looking to drive out and explore and see some of...More

Panoramic great view clear water good snorkeling. Free and not crowded when we were there. Was pretty windy though a guy who says he is there a lot said that was unusual. Some families and seemed good place for them.

If for whatever reason you prefer not to book a snorkel tour due to cost or seasickness fears - go here! We rented two snorkels for $35 for the week at our hotel and came here. It was awesome! I saw every fish imaginable, as...More

Yes, I'm fairly certain SUPs can be rented from the activity hut in front of the Maui Kaanapali Villas just south of the park.
